Prince of Wales ‘in the Firing Line'

Firing Line

HRH The Prince of Wales recently opened ‘Firing Line’ - Cardiff Castle Museum of the Welsh Soldier, which tells the story of the Welsh cavalry and Welsh infantry.

The regiments are notable for their campaigns at Waterloo and the Zulu Wars and the museum collection is presented through these campaign themes.

Audio-visual and hands-on exhibits enable visitors to experience something of what it’s like to be a soldier – from lifting a musket to feel its weight, looking through a trench periscope to no-man’s land and dressing up in uniform and headgear.
