London Pride

Firing Line

Boris Johnson and Sir Michael Caine opened the new £20 million Capital City galleries at the Museum of London in May to huge acclaim.

Furneaux Stewart designed the Sackler Hall: the social, refreshment and communication hub at the epicentre of the new galleries with a 48 metre circumference suspended LED ellipse and central multiple plasma array, which in combination tells the living story of 24 hours of London life in the World’s Capital City. Constantly updated live feed input from the web ensures that the information flow is current, and the adjacent café and quiet study pod areas complete the picture.
